Egide's High Temperature Co-Fired Ceramic (HTCC) manufacturing operation in the USA is now supported by the newly operational state-of-the-art plating facilities announced in September 2021. The HTCC operation includes a 2000 square foot, Class 10,000 (ISO 7) clean room for screen printing, via forming, and lamination processes. CNC diamond dicing and specialized atmospheric furnaces are processed in an adjoining area for high temperature sintering. Finally, electroless nickel and gold plating are supported by the new plating facilities on-site. The Quality and Reliability Department has equipment for environmental testing per MIL-PRF-38534, thermal cycling, hermeticity testing and geometric tolerance verification. Egide USA facilities produce a variety of hermetic packages used for Aerospace, Defense and Optoelectronics applications. Egide is ITAR and AS 9100 registered and provides product design, engineering, manufacturing, and product support for customers in the North American market.
