Understands how to work with Industrial/Process Engineers designing for manufacturability.Ability to interpret and create technical drawings/models (CAD/STP/etc.).Proficient in Microsoft office suite and can become proficient in other systems/software as required.Ability to work remotely, self-starter with excellent time management skills.

PROCESS ENGINEER
EGIDE USA IS HIRING!
Process EngineerEgide manufactures high reliability, hermetically sealed, micro-electronic packaging for aerospace, military, and commercial applications. We utilize glass-to-metal and ceramic-to-metal sealing technologies as well as high-temperature co-fired ceramics to meet and exceed our customer?s expectations. Some of our manufactured components have even been used on the Mars Rover! We are AS9100 certified and ITAR registered. As a member of the engineering team at Egide, you will join a group of dedicated people who enjoy experiments, learning, and striving to satisfy our customers with a job done well.This is an engineering position that will require prior experience. Process Engineers are responsible for manufacturing processes throughout the facility, design reviews, drafting AS9100 compliant procedures and work instructions, and disposition of non-conforming material. Additionally, this position will work with the engineering team to analyze test data and reports, work on continuous improvement projects, and perform general tasks such as file management and paperwork as needed.
Job based in Cambridge, Maryland (USA).Skills:

Education:
- Bachelor of Science in an Engineering field (Equivalent work experience may satisfy this requirement.)

- Understanding of conveyor belt furnaces, machining, welding, electro finishing and/or hermetic sealing preferred.
- Previous experience with ERP/MRP software preferred.
- Background in manufacturing of electronics using Jedec 9, MIL-STD-883 and/or MIL-PRF-38534 standards preferred.
- Ability to understand and comprehend verbal and written English instructions.

Manufacturing Engineer (Plating)
EGIDE USA IS HIRING!
A manufacturing Engineer (Plating) to maintain and improve existing processes for the plating of hermetic packages and to develop new processes in order to improve yields, throughput, and efficiency.
Job based in Cambridge, Maryland (USA).
Essential Function and Responsibilities- Draft ISO compliant procedures capable of meeting customer and industry standards
- Develop part specific work instruction
- Interface with design engineers to effectively develop job routing
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians
- Disposition of non-conforming product
- Set up shop conditions for adequate plating including chemistry in the plating tank, waste treatment, electrical settings of rectifiers, heaters, etc.
- Analyzes test data and reports to determine if designs meet functional and performance specifications
- Analyzes, reads and interprets blueprints, schematics, customer specifications, military standards? etc.
- Participate in Engineering Projects including product development and capital expenditures
- Support/Provide root cause/corrective actions for high value military/aerospace customers
- Utilizes statistical process control to determine capability of processes and for continuous improvement
- Interface with suppliers and customers as needed
Qualifications:- Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience is required.
- Understanding of electro finishing, electroless plating, passivation?etc.
- Extensive knowledge of basic chemical reactions, titrations and annealing processes
- Previous ERP/MRP experience
- Background in manufacturing of electronics
- Knowledge of JEDEC9, MIL-STD-883 and MIL-PRF-38534
- Lean Manufacturing Experience
- Wastewater Treatment
