OUR MANAGEMENT

Members of the executive management team are either engineers or established academics, combining technical expertise with management skills:

 Philippe BENSUSSAN -Chairman of the Board of Directors - Graduated from Ecole Polytechnique. He also holds a PhD from MIT in Material Sciences, one from Université Paris Orsay in Physics and an Executive-MBA from HEC. Armament engineer, he held, between 1984 to 1998, various positions within the Direction Générale de l’Armement (French MoD Procurement agency), the last one as program manager of Earth-observation Helios satellites program. He went on to lead Lynred until 2018, a company that is one of the world’s leaders in the design and manufacturing of high-quality infrared technologies for the aerospace, military, industrial and consumer markets. Since beginning of 2018, Philippe BENSUSSAN has been advising investment firms and CEO’s, as consultant or independent board member. He also joined the M&A advising firm Financière de Courcelles end of 2019 as senior advisor. He brings to the table his strong experience in hi-tech industry, with a focus on electronics, optronics, defense, space and aeronautics. On October 2, 2024, he was co-opted as member of Egide’s group board of directors, before being appointed Chairman of the Board on October 21, 2024.


Ignace DUPON - CEO, Bollène (France) - With a civil engineering degree in electronics and management from the University of Leuven (KUL), Ignace DUPON is known for his leadership, strategic vision, and ability to grow businesses in complex international markets. International executive with over 30 years' experience in the high-tech and industrial sectors, he has held key positions within the Egide Group since 2014: Sales Director for Europe and Asia, then in the U.S. as Purchasing Director and now as GM of the Cambridge and San Diego (MD) sites. At EGIDE, he has led major strategic transformations including a return to profitability, client portfolio diversification, industrial restructuring, and the development of strategic accounts.
Prior to Egide, he held senior purchasing, commercial and business development roles at Keopsys, Highwave Optical Technologies, and Alcatel Optronics, where he built international teams and negotiated industrial partnerships.

Gary WATERHOUSE -Director of Business Development and Customer Solutions (North America) - Has a technical background in metallurgy (University of Surrey, UK) and organizational management (University of Phoenix, USA). He joined Egide in 2021 and leads business development in our North American markets. He has over 20 years of management experience with microelectronics packaging, manufacturing, and advanced materials development in the semiconductor industry, working for Amkor Technology, Texas Instruments and Tessera. His business development experience includes responsibilities in the US, Asia and Europe.
