James F. COLLINS - Chairman & CEO - Has a Bachelors of Science (ceramic engineering) from Rutgers University, New Jersey (United States). He began his career as a Process Engineer at General Refractories in the Chicago, Illinois area, serving the steel industry. In 1983 he left this position to join Coors Ceramics Company in Golden, Colorado, where over 14 years, he held various engineering and management positions, primarily in the Electronic Ceramics industry. In 1996, he joined a division of Phillips Electronics (Cambridge, MD) where he would occupy different management positions. This division was subsequently sold to create Electronic Packaging Products which in December 2000, would become Egide USA Inc. for which he was appointed chief operating officer and vice president. In September 2014, he was appointed chief executive officer of Egide SA.
Luc ARDON - Chief Administrative and Financial Officer - Graduate of the ESC Reims school of management and holds an MBA from ESC Paris. He has occupied a number of functions in the field of finance and general management notably at Kodak-Trophy, the dental imaging company and Quantel, subsequently becoming Lumibird, a designer and manufacturer of lasers.
Scott MACKENZIE - General Manager of Santier, San Diego (CA) - Mechanical engineer with a degree from Stanford in Management Sciences. He possesses a range of experiences in lean management and processes. He also has obtained management experience with Garret Motion (ex Honeywell Turbo) and Fox Factory.
David HIEN - General Manager of Egide SA - Bollène (France) - Has a MsC in Telecommunications from ISEN (France). He is a senior business development and marketing expert. He joined Texas Instruments in 2001 and lived and worked in ten countries in Europe, in the USA and in Asia. He joined Egide in 2021 and leads a new organization named Customer Solutions, which brings together design activity, application engineering, quote activity, business development and marketing. Since April 4, 2022, he is the General Manager of Egide SA in Bollène (Vaucluse - France).
Gary WATERHOUSE -Director of Business Development and Customer Solutions (North America) - Has a technical background in metallurgy (University of Surrey, UK) and organizational management (University of Phoenix, USA). He joined Egide in 2021 and leads business development in our North American markets. He has over 20 years of management experience with microelectronics packaging, manufacturing, and advanced materials development in the semiconductor industry, working for Amkor Technology, Texas Instruments and Tessera. His business development experience includes responsibilities in the US, Asia and Europe.
Brook GASTER - Director of Sales for North America - Has over 20 years of experience selling electronic and fiber optic components used in high reliability/harsh environment systems for the military, aerospace, space, medical and telecommunications markets. He has numerous U.S. government security accreditations. He has held sales management positions at TE Connectivity, Gould Fiber Optics and Amphenol Aerospace and was President of Baxus LLC. After living in Singapore for three years, he gained international experience in sales, operations and business/organizational development. Brook is an alumnus of Penn State and a graduate of Johns Hopkins.
